Data on your device

TuboVio stores links, file names, download status, favourites, collections and settings locally. Its browser stores cookies, sign-in sessions and browsing history if enabled. A site session may be copied locally into a download task. There is no app account, developer-operated extraction server, or added advertising or analytics system.

Websites and torrents

Requests go to the links, websites and media servers you choose. Those parties receive your IP address, request headers and relevant cookies and may collect data or display ads under their own policies. Torrents connect to peers, trackers and DHT, expose your IP address and may upload file pieces while downloading. Torrent activity stops when the task is stopped or completed. Do not use it for confidential content.

Permissions and files

The app uses internet access, network information, notifications and foreground services for tasks you start. It reads files and folders you select using Android’s picker and saves results to your chosen download location. It does not request all-files access. Conversion and audio extraction happen on-device. Sharing passes a file to the app you select. Picture-in-picture uses Android’s feature without the draw-over-other-apps permission.

Retention and deletion

Local records, settings and sessions remain until you clear them or clear app data. Settings let you clear browser history, sessions and download request headers; download records can also be deleted. Temporary storage cleanup protects registered task parts. Clearing app data removes its database, settings and private temporary files; files published in Downloads or your chosen folder remain and can be removed using your file manager. There is no app account to delete.

Security

Private data is stored in Android’s app space with Android backup disabled. HTTPS is used where the source provides it; selected links may use HTTP and torrents do not guarantee encryption for all connections. We do not promise security of external sites or anonymity.

Developer and contact

TuboVio — developer: Malik Al-Safi. Privacy and support contact: ansta0383@gmail.com. Support emails may contain your address, message and attachments you choose to send; these are used to address your request. Do not send passwords, cookies or secret links. You can request deletion of correspondence using the same email, subject to legally required retention.

Changes

This policy may change when app features or data handling change. The date above identifies the latest update. This page does not control external website policies.

Background audio and older storage

Audio files can play in the background with media controls and a local sleep timer. This can be disabled in Media tools. On Android 8 and 9, choose a save folder for new downloads so they remain after uninstalling. Files saved in the app-specific directory by earlier versions may be deleted when uninstalling; move important files to a separate folder.

Session protection and diagnostics

Version 3.5.0 encrypts saved download headers, including session copies, using a key held in Android Keystore. Headers are removed when a download completes; older saved headers are migrated on app startup. The extraction engine may require a private temporary session file while working. The optional diagnostic report excludes links, filenames and sessions and is shown for review before sharing. Settings exports exclude sessions, history, file paths and the save folder.
